ELECTROLYSIS

 

Hair removal using diathermy. This method of electrolysis is carried out with a pre-sterilised disposable probe which delivers a minute amount of electric current into the hair follicle to the root of the hair. Diathermy is the use of short-wave high frequency current which generates a small amount of heat within the hair follicle leading to cauterisation of the blood vessels which nourish hair growth. Very effective on upper lip, chin and brows. Electrolysis
